Real Estate:

I currently own 1 rental property that’s up for lease in the next couple of months.

All of my other real estate posts will be found on my real estate label.

Net Worth:

I’m working on getting my Net Worth page back up.  It’s taken a major hit last year from the divorce.  I hope to have this updated by next month.

You can find the details of this on my Net Worth page.

Looking Ahead:

2016 is a year to get back on track.  I plan to consistently invest and keep track of my investments once again.  Until after April, investment activity will be a little light due to a larger tax bill due and work on the new restaurant.  I hope to post at least once a week and gradually pick up as things get a little more normalized around here.

The restaurant is coming along.  I’m expecting my alcohol sales license soon.  I’ve almost finished menus and have set up POS software for processing credit cards.  I’m target mid March for an opening.  I have a lot of work to do.  Wish me luck!

The picture is from Thailand.  I’m reinvigorated after the trip and ready to get to work!

That’s a cool pic of you in Thailand. It looks like we are almost at the exact same point in terms of net worth and dividend income.

Our allocations could not be more different though as I have almost all of my NW in stock market investments. It looks like you’re super-invested in real estate.

That sucks about the divorce and your NW – hopefully you will bounce back from that in no time! Good luck with 2016!

Thanks, glad you liked the pic! Well, I took a big hit but I’m picking up my feet and moving forward. It’s good to hear that you are doing well.

I’ve actually sold two properties and am down to one rental plus my primary residence. I am planning on buying a second rental this year.

Yeah, I plan to stay focused and will be back in no time.

      Thanks for stopping by!

Very neat that you went to Thailand, would love to go there one day. Congrats on being able to add almost $5000 into your dividend portfolio. That’ll definitely generate more dividend income moving forward.

It was a wonderful experience that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I hope you have a chance to go some day.

Yeah, $5k was pretty good considering what I’ve got going on. My purchases are going to be a lot lower going forward until I get my taxes paid.

Very nice month; No sells and all buys seems like a great month to me. That’s some serious money you put down for the month and a terrific forward dividend income. I’m sorry to hear about the divorce, but happy that you are back on track and on the right track, forward. Enjoy the travels and stay safe!

Thanks. I’m slowly building back up my portfolio. I really want to get back to the 10k forward income mark. The BBL cut won’t help. I am getting back on track and it feels good to get things back in order. I’m excited for what the future holds.

      Thanks for stopping by!

Exceptionally pleasant month; No offers and all purchases appears like an awesome month to me. That is a few genuine cash you put down for the month and a marvellous forward profit pay. I’m sorry to learn about the separation, however cheerful that you are back on track and destined for success, forward. Appreciate the voyages and stay safe!

Glad to see you’re picking up and moving forward. We’re all going to face setbacks. It’s a part of life. It’s how you recover that matters most. 🙂

Looking good with everything, all considered. You’re in far better shape than the vast majority of people out there, even with everything that’s happened. Keep up the excellent work!

More updates please! Your followers may be small, but you honestly do inspire some of us. If possible, some more updates would be awesome.

So sorry to hear about your divorce Very personal (and perhaps tragic?) but honestly hearing how you bounce back from a life change like that impacts a lot of other people.
