The summer is coming to an end and football is finally here! Texas had a good game against North Texas but now we’ve lost our starting center (broken ankle) and our quarterback will sit out next game due to concussion-like symptoms. We can’t catch a break…
I continue to deploy all of my extra capital in dividend growth stocks each month. I’m starting to gain a little traction and hope to pick up the contribution amounts through the end of the year.

I had an INTC call assigned, a KO put that expired and I rolled forward an ESV put for a small profit. I also sold two new GE puts. I collected $268 in premiums in August.
My total profit for the year is $1670.00.

I earned $801.33 in dividends for the month. This is an increase of 49% from the same month last year. My total year-to-date dividend income is $6063.91. This is 60.6% toward my goal of $10,000 in dividends for the year.

I posted a goal of completing the Yakezie challenge. I continue pushing forward towards the rest of my goals. I’ve hit 3 out of 10 and still need to post about the third goal. My next goal met will likely be to reach 800k in net worth.

All 3 rental properties are now leased for at least 8 more months now.
I posted my most recent electric bill and now have installed a new pool pump to save even more energy.

I’m now at $775k, up from $725k. This is a $50,000 increase in one month! The majority of this came from increases in value to all properties which I got from Zillow. Prices continue to climb fast here.

My expected dividends for September are $1471 which I believe would break a new record and be around 40% higher than last Sept.
I am on track with my goal of 10k in dividend income. The forward goal of 14k is not going to happen but I’ll keep putting extra capital to work. I don’t want to chase yield to try and meet any goals.
I’m still using Motif Investing and am thinking about a purchase of just IBM to raise it’s weight in my Dow 30 Motif since I’ve already build a large position in T.
