I’m reporting my automatic purchases for this week:
I Bought:
$700 of BBL
I used $700 in new capital and added $32.76/year to my dividend income. This is an average yield of 4.7%.
Note:
BBL has endured a lot of weakness since announcing a de-merger where they are going to split up some of their assets into another company. BBL is sitting at a 52-week low and also not up to a full weight in my portfolio so I decided to add more. I may likely do the same thing next week if the price stays this low.

Just for some fun and to add some color I will be posting pictures of places I’ve been to. It’s also motivation to reach FI so I can travel and do what I want to when I want to.
This is a picture of one of the best beers I’ve ever had. If you like imperial stouts then I suggest to track this one down. The Abyss is amazing. I’m also heading to Portland in a few weeks so I’ll be going to visit Deschutes brewery there.
Very solid buy, I’d love to add BBL in our dividend portfolio in the near future.

Tawcan,
Thanks, I think BBL is very attractive here.
Take care!
Nice buy on BBL. I like it alot at these levels as well and will keep buying in the low $50’s.

AA,
Thanks! I agree it looks pretty good here. I’m not overweight on shares so that’s another reason to keep buying. BBL will likely be popular in my weekly buys for a while.
Cheers!
I have to say that BBL never made it on my radar ever. I know a few of the dividend bloggers have it in their portfolios but for whatever reason doesn’t seem to get the attention other dividend payers receive. Nice yield on the stock. I’ll have to take a closer look at this one.

Hi DivHut,
It seems to be really popular lately after the pullback. I’d be curious to know what you think after your research.
thanks for stopping by!
AAI,
Nice purchase! I picked up some BBL along with BP this week as well. I am so loving the recent weakness in energy. Hopefully crude prices will stay under $80 for a while as I am still looking to increase my energy positions.

MDP,
Thanks! BBL is pretty popular in the dividend growth community lately. I’m with you on energy. I know it will rebound and have been loading up.
Cheers!
Hi, All About Interest.
Nice pickup on BBL. I’ve held shares of VALE for the past couple years, but YTD the shares have been under a lot of pressure. I continue to hold strong as I believe China will eventually pickup once again and the shares will rebound. I also recently picked up FCX, which is hitting a 52 week low. FCX is getting hit on both the copper front and on the energy front; however, the yield has moved up to 4.50%, which works well for me. I’m very much looking forward to a bottoming of the metals. Take care.

Goosemann,
Thanks. VALE has a giant dividend that looks like it will be difficult to keep. Their future earnings worry me but there’s also more potential reward with the risk. I wish you luck on that one. I don’t know a whole lot about them. I like FCX much better. I however, don’t plan on buying any more materials stocks other than BBL right now. I might consider buying some additional physical silver as it has come way down in price. The bottom is so hard to predict but if I had to take a guess, I’d say we’re much closer to the bottom than the top.
Cheers!
Nice purchase here. BBL is a stock that I see lot of dividend bloggers buy and add to their positions. I hold lot of Oil stocks, but nothing in the other commodities. Need to look at BBL in the future.

DGJ,
Thanks. BBL is worth looking into and the recent weakness is a great buying opportunity in my opinion.
Thanks for dropping by!
Man your killing it with these weekly buys! Very good yield on the purchase and a company I need to research a little more.
I’ll have to check out that beer as well. Never heard of it.

SAD,
Thanks, I’m trying to stay consistent and purchase a minimum of $2400 a month in my Sharebuilder account. I might have a couple of larger purchases here next week.
If you like dark beers or especially imperial stouts, you need to try it.
Cheers!
I know nothing about BBL but love beer lol! I have never had that one but will keep an eye out for it.
